Londis with a new Post Office, conversion of the
Greddington to homes, and the Castle garage opened

weather, just add sunshine, and plenty
of it.

Deli-Fine..
A couple of years before Val Bolton opened
her Deli- Fine, Holt boasted JT Vernons fresh
food hall and coffee shop, with customers
from far and wide.
While Andrews food hall is still missed, Val
has brought fine foods back to Holt. Situated
on the corner, Val follows in the footsteps of
both Andrew Vernon and Paul Burrell, they
both have been previous tenants.
Hildegard’s cafe...
Hildegards cafe with street chairs and tables
adds a pleasing continental atmosphere to one
side of the cross.
Jeremys Londis...
Jeremy is re-investing into his ‘mini-mart’.
Moving the Post Office to the new back
extension, with space for more shelves, more
variety and even fresh bread, a pleasent aroma
awaits the weary worker, shopping on the way
home.
HoltLocal
Holt, separated from England by the river Dee. Bridged by the Romans using local sandstone, joining the two countries at
Farndon, England. The contrast between the two villages when passing over the bridge is highlighted by the energy of growth
and investment to be seen in Holt. Farndon on the other hand, or rather, the other side of the river, is sleepy, sublime,
suburbian England.
